Taxpayers affected by export decline, fires get payment extension

Taxpayers who have suffered from export decline or forest fires will have their comprehensive income tax payment deadline extended until August 31, 2023.

 

Export company target

  1. If the export amount in 2022 is more than 50% of the sales amount and the sales statement is over KRW 500 million
  2. Or an exporter selected by the Korea Customs Service or KOTRA

 

Forest fire victims

Those who have registered addresses in areas declared as special disaster zones due to nationwide forest fires that occurred in April 2023.

Special disaster areas: Seo-gu, Daejeon, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, Hongseong-gun, Geumsan-gun, Dangjin-si, Boryeong-si, Buyeo-gun, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, Suncheon-si, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do
